RABAT, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) Moussa Faki demanded Monday the release of the Sudanese Prime Minister and members of government that were under arrest in Sudan. In a statement from the African Union (AU), Faki expressed his concern regarding the situation and called for an immediate dialogue with the military forces concerning constitutional rights. Faki stated that the only way to solve the situation in the country is through discussing a common agreement as well as respecting the freedom of the officials. Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan Abdulfatah Al-Burhan declared a state of emergency in Sudan as well as dissolving the government and Sovereignty Council amid talk of a "military coup" being carried out. the armed forces arrested of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk and members of the governments.
