KHARTOUM, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- Sudan's Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk is reportedly under house arrest after unidentified military forces surrounded his home early Monday, media reports suggested, amidst security forces' deployment in Khartoum.
The media reports said a number of roads and bridges were closed, protesters were seen on streets and at least four ministers were reportedly arrested.
Sudan's professionals association called on people to take to the street to show support for the government and civilian authority in order to protect the revolution. (end) bs
