AMMAN, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan has commended Saudi stances backing his country in the face of different "challenges".
King Abdullah II said that the Saudi stances and candid messages mirror the policy of its leadership that backs constantly Jordan, the Royal Hashemite Court said in a statement.
This came during King's reception of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, the court added.
Prince Faisal conveyed a message from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to King Abdullah on the bilateral ties and regional issues, according to the statement.
King Abdullah stressed that the security of Jordan and Saudi Arabia is integrated and that they stand together against all challenges, it noted.
He affirmed deep-rooted relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Meanwhile, Prince Faisal emphasized his country's keenness on boosting cooperation with Jordan, it made clear.
The two sides reviewed bilateral ties and means of enhancing them in all fields, and stressed continued coordination and consultation between the two countries towards issues of common concern. (end)
