ADEN, July 25 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait-based International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) have doled out portions of Udhiya (sacrificed animals') meat for 5,000 Yemeni needy families on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
The IICO distributed the meat to beneficiaries across the war-torn Arab country through a number of local charities.
Head of the Communication Foundation for Human Development, one of the Yemeni charities, Raed Ibrahim told KUNA Sunday that the donated meat were provided to families mostly affected by conflict, particularly those stranded in displaced people camps.
He expressed gratitude to the IICO efforts in Yemen. (end) sns.sam.aq
