KUWAIT, July 16 (KUNA) -- Several countries on Friday updated their new COVID-19 deaths and infections over the past 24 hours.
In France, health officials confirmed 22 fatalities and 109,08 infections of Covid-19, in the daily count.
In a statement, the French ministry said that the death toll reached 111,451 people and total infections up to 5,844,249 cases.
In Algeria, the health ministry confirmed 15 fatalities due to Covid-19 and 1,197 new infections.
In a statement, the ministry said the death toll reached 3,910 people and toll infections to 151,103 cases.
On another front, in Morocco nine confirmed deaths and 2,791 new infections were reported in the past 24 hours.
Moroccan health officials said the death toll in the country jumped to 9,427 people and toll infections to 552,635 cases.
In Spain, health officials confirmed 12 people died from Covid-19 and 31,060 got new infections in the past 24 hours.
In a statement, the ministry noted that the total number of fatalities reached 81,096 and toll infections to four millions and 100,222 cases.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Luxembourg reported 127 new cases of coronavirus raising the total number to 72,759.
One new death from Covid-19 was reported, increasing the total death toll in Luxembourg to 820. (Pickup previous) hnd.mr.mry.nk
