LONDON, July 16 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's leaders must act now, must form a new government, British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa Affairs James Cleverly said Friday.
In his account on Twitter, Cleverly said "Lebanese PM-designate Hariri's resignation is yet another setback for the long-suffering people of Lebanon."
The minister added, "Lebanese leaders must act, must form a new government, and must implement the reforms that they have promised."
Hariri's decision came after failing to reach consensus on forming a new government in talks with President Michel Aoun. (end)
