KUWAIT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- The Chinese authorities announced Saturday that 14 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported, all of them from abroad, while no deaths recorded during the past 24 hours.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the total infections in the Chinese mainland rose to 85,269, and the total deaths remained at 4,634, while the total imported cases increased to 2,720. It added that the 14 imported cases from abroad for travelers coming to China, including one case in each of Quang Dong, Liaoning, and Fujian Provinces and two cases in each of Shanghai, Sichuan, and Shaanxi.
It pointed out that eight people left hospitals during the past 24 hours after their recovery, bringing the total number of recoveries to 80,464 people, while 171 patients are still receiving treatment. (end) mab.gaa
