ISTANBUL, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Two Turkish soldiers were killed during the operation against Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) codenamed "Claw-Tiger" in northern Iraq, Turkish National Defense Ministry announced Friday.
According to Anadolu News Agency (AA), Turkey's Operation Claw-Tiger was launched in June to neutralize the threat against PKK militants and other terrorist organizations.
The operation Claw-tiger is part of the second phase of anti-PKK operations launched on June 15. (end) ta.gaa
