KUWAIT, Sept 3 (KUNA) -- Up to 54 judges took legal oath to Chairman of Kuwait's Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and the Cassation Court, and President of the Constitutional Court Justice Yousef Al-Mutawa, Thursday, on the occasion of their appointment as judges in the Supreme Court.
Al-Mutawa in a speech addressed the new judges in the presence of the Head of the College Court, Counselor, Adel Bosley, on joining the judiciary, indicating that this comes within the framework.
He pointed out to the judges the responsibility they bear and the duties that must be adhered to, and urged them to strive for justice and the interests of the litigants.
In regards to female judges, he added that the experience of female judges requires an evaluation after a period of time as well as stressing the role of new female judges in making this experiment a success, Al-Mutawa noted.
He stressed the need to adhere to all directives that lead to the good performance of judges for their work.(end) omn.fh.hs
