AMMAN, July 7 (KUNA) -- Jordan declared on Tuesday registering two new infections with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) putting tally of contaminations with the germ at 1,169 since outbreak of the pandemic in the kingdom months ago.
Health Minister Saad Jaber said at a news conference the two cases were of persons who had come from abroad, adding that 12 recovery cases were reocrded today bringing the whole count of the recuperated to 969.
Minister Jaber added that the health authorities conducted some 8,000 swab tests today, raising the whole count of extracted samples to 434,000. (end) mjb.rk
