KUWAIT, May 4 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Environment Public Authority (EPA) Sheikh Abdullah Ahmad Al-Humoud Al-Sabah said on Monday special containers will be set up at cooperating societies (commercial stores) for safe disposal of medical masks and gloves.
Sheikh Abdullah said in a statement that EPA had prepared and assembled such bins for distribution to the stores to ensure that the masks and gloves are dumped in a hYgienic way.
Many citizens and workers in Kuwait have been wearing the protecting masks and gloves, amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
The EPA chairman has added that concern for environmental cleanliness is a humanitarian duty stressing that such a responsibility must be shouldered by all citizens and residents. (end) zik.rk
