KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) - Kuwaiti oil price rose by USD 1.37 to USD 25.70 per barrel on Tuesday, compared with USD 24.33 the day earlier, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said Wednesday.
In global markets, West Texas Intermediate prices went up by 39 cents to USD 20.48 pb, while Brent crude price fell by two cents to stand at USD 22.74 pb.
International crude prices concluded the first quarter of this year on Tuesday as US crude futures and Brent prices sharply fell due to global economic downturn caused by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. (end) km.mt
