ANKARA, March 29 (KUNA) -- Armenia on Sunday confirmed a further two deaths of patients who had been infected by the novel coronavirus, raising to three the Caucasus nation's fatality toll.
The new victims are a 55-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man who had chronic diseases, Armenian Health Minister Arsen Torosian said in a press statement.
Armenia on Thursday reported its first fatality among patients diagnosed with COVID-19, a 72-year-old woman who had suffered from multiple medical conditions.
The Armenian health minister also announced a hike to 407 in the number of COVID-19 infections, in addition to 30 additional recoveries. (end) rs.mt
