KUWAIT, March 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ministry of Interior said that nine expatriates were arrested in Farwaniyah area on Monday evening for violating the partial curfew.
The detainees were referred to the extradition department to complete the procedures of their deportation, the Ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Department said in a statement posted to its website.
The security services tolerate no breach of the rules of the partial nationwide curfew, it stressed.
On Sunday, the Kuwaiti government imposed an indefinite curfew from 5:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. as part of the efforts to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). (end) kns.gb
