KUWAIT, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- Ministry of Health dismissed as untrue and inaccurate the reports that the number of infections with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Kuwait rose to 126.
The Ministry urged, in a statement on Thursday evening, everybody to rely on official sources for accurate news and information.
The number of COVID-19 cases went up to only 43 after 17 new cases were confirmed out of brush tests conducted on 1,675 arrivals in Kuwait from virus-hit areas, it said, citing a statement by the Ministry's Assistant Secretary Dr. Buthaina Al-Mudhaf earlier today.
All patients are kept in quarantine at a hospital specially designed and equipped for treating such cases as per the relevant world-recognized standards, it said, noting that they are in stable condition. (pickup previous) tb.gb
