MANAMA, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- Bahrain has decided to shut down all public and private schools as a precautionary measure to fight the novel coronavirus outbreak.
"All public and private schools, including kindergartens, will be closed for two weeks starting from Wednesday 26 February 2020," the Bahraini Ministry of Education said in a statement.
The decision is part of the Kingdom's efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the statement.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has reported six new cases of the novel virus, bringing the kingdom's death toll up to 23 cases. (Pick up previous) hmd.mt
