ISTANBUL, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- Turkey's president and Kuwait's visiting parliament chief discussed Kuwaiti investments in Turkey, bilateral relations and the latest regional developments on Friday.
This came as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, who arrived in the country two days ago on a three-day visit, according to a statement.
Al-Ghanim delivered the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion.
Erdogan, for his part, said he valued the positive role assumed by His Highness the Amir on several regional issues.
He said he would work to provide further facilitations for Kuwaiti investments and remove some obstacles they may face.
He also vowed to ease restrictions that hinder an increase in bilateral trade. (end) wa.sd
