BAGHDAD, Dec 6 (KUNA) -- The Iraqi Border Ports Authority announced Friday that it has thwarted drugs smuggling attempt through Safwan border port into Kuwait.
The authority said in a statement that it seized an Iraqi traveler residing in Kuwait in the southern border town of Safwan, in possession of more than four kilograms of narcotic crystal substance.
It noted that the traveler was intending to travel to Kuwait and had been referred to the center of Safwan to take the necessary legal measures against him. (end) ahh.aa
