WASHINGTON, Dec 06 (KUNA) -- Up to three soldiers were killed Thursday in a National Guard helicopter crash in Minnesota.
The Minnesota National Guard tweeted "the Minnesota National Guard lost contact with a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter while it was conducting a maintenance test flight that originated from St. Cloud, Minnesota." The National Guard announced later "three soldiers from the Minnesota National Guard were killed today when a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the Minnesota National Guard's Army Aviation Safety Facility in St. Cloud went down southwest of St. Cloud, Minnesota." "Our Minnesota National Guard family is devastated by the deaths of these soldiers," said Major General Jon Jensen, the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard.
