ISTANBUL, Aug 14 (KUNA) -- Turkish security authorities arrested on Wednesday three suspects linked to the so-called Islamic State (IS) in Adana city, south of Turkey, according to Anadolu news agency.
The anti-terrorist team in non-stop efforts raided and arrested three IS suspects in Yuregir neighborhood of Adana city, a Turkish source told Anadolu agency.
The detainees were transferred to security directorate for questioning and legal proceedings, it added.
In the last months, Turkish anti-terrorist teams intensified their fight against IS and arrested many suspects in major cities to stop terrorism from spreading in Turkey. (end) ta.hs
