GAZA, May 31 (KUNA) -- At least 16 Palestinian people were wounded on Friday by the Israeli occupation forces' fire at the eastern fence of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The medical teams admitted 16 Palestinians to hospitals for treatment after they had been injured by the Israeli fire, Palestinian Health Ministry's spokesman Ashraf Al-Qedra said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Higher National Commission of Great Return March and Breaking of Siege urged in a statement Palestinian people to take part in Eid al-Fitr prayer, east of Gaza City.
Since March 30, 2018, Palestinian people have been staging protests, calling for lifting the siege imposed on the Strip and returning to their homes they forcibly left in 1948. (end) wab.hm
