KUWAIT, April 25 (KUNA) -- The phenomenon of street vendors on main roads and subways and at squares and marketplaces causes negative hygienic, economic and social effects.
Street hawkers usually offer foodstuff that does not fulfill relevant health requirements and poses health hazards.
However, Kuwait Municipality inspectors are doing their utmost to curtail this uncivilized phenomenon in an effort to enforce law and protect consumers. (end) jak.mt
