KUWAIT, April 8 (KUNA) - Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah stressed on the distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and Argentina.
In a press statement on Monday on the sidelines of the Argentine embassy on its national day, Al-Jarallah said the number of visits between officials of the two countries reflected the desire to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
On the Kuwaiti-Yemeni talks, which took place on Sunday, Al-Jarallah noted that the discussions were positive and frank with the Yemeni foreign minister, especially as he was Yemen's representative to the United Nations where he was aware of the Kuwaiti role in Yemen and elsewhere.
Kuwait is seeking to provide aid for dire humanitarian situations, he said, pointing out that there are funds allocated in the context of the humanitarian situation of Yemen, "but the political scene is becoming more complicated in Yemen, where UN envoy Martin Griffiths arrived in Yemen to revive the talks," he added.
Regarding the Kuwaiti-Moroccan Higher Joint Committee' meeting to be held on Tuesday, Al-Jarallah noted that it will witness the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding in a number of fields. (end) nma.aa
