Tunis, Mar 20 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Minister of Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Mohammad Al-Jabri affirmed on Wednesday the special deeply rooted relations between Kuwait and Tunisia.
This came during heading the official Kuwaiti delegation to mark Tunis as the Islamic Culture Capital of 2019.
He added that Tunis is one of the countries that has promoted tolerance, rejected extremism and fight against destructive ideas through it's media and culture tools.
On his part, Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs Mohamed Zine el-Abidine said in a press conference that his country deserves the lead, especially after activating the cultural policy.
The special celebration of Tunis as the capital of Islamic Culture for 2019 is scheduled to kick off Thursday with a broad Arab and Islamic participation. (end) ksj.gaa
