KUWAIT, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) announced on Monday that Kuwait has obtained the International Standardization Organization (ISO) 31000 certificate in risk management.
PIC's Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Al-Farhoud said in a statement that obtaining this certificate reflects its commitment and compatibility with the best international standards.
Deputy CEO for Administration and Finance Ibrahim Al-Musaiteer said in a statement that the oil sector has been applying risk management concepts for 12 years.
He added that the company's comprehensive risk methodologies made it easy for to obtain the ISO 31000 certificate. (end) ad.ht.gaa
