KHARTOUM, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- A helicopter crashed in eastern Sudan on Sunday, killing seven people, including a state governor, local media reported.
The Sudanese plane exploded in flames as it tried to land in Al-Qadarif State, Sudan's official news agency (SUNA) reported.
Al-Qadarif governor Mirghani Saleh and several other officials were among the dead, it said, adding that four passengers escaped the air crash. (end)
