KUWAIT, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB) said Tuesday that the total of real estate loans, women's loans and grants in October 2018 reached KD 31.95 million (USD 105 million).
The total loans of the real estate portfolio during the same period were KD 120,000 (USD 396,000), noting that the loans granted for private housing reached KD 1.74 million (USD 5.7 million), KCB said in a statement.
The loans for public houses amounted to KD 20 million (USD 66 million) and loans for purchasing houses reached KD 4 million (USD 13 million), the statement added.
KCB added, about KD 251,000 (USD 828,000) disbursed to expand and renovate the private housing and about KD 1 million (USD 3. 3 million) for the expansion and restoration of government houses and about KD 24,000 (USD 79,000) loans and grants for concrete houses.
The total grants for people with special needs reached KD 3 million (USD 9.9 million), as the bank spent about KD 120,000 (USD 396,000) for expansion and restoration loans. (end) mfs.asa.ss
