MADRID, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- The town of Buitrago del Lozoya, located 75 km north of the capital Madrid, has a unique wall built by Muslims in the 11th century.
It is one of the few in the community that has maintained its walls, which represents a national landmark since 1931.
The town lies on a peninsula surrounded by the Lozoya river, which derives its name from it.
The city has been a cultural landmark since 1993 and houses Picasso Museum which contains 60 works by Pablo Picasso, as well as the "Clock Tower", one of the gates of the walled city.(end) hnd.haq
