KUWAIT, June 9 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by USD 1.01 to USD 73.49 per barrel Friday after being at USD 72.48 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.
The price globally went down on Friday as a result of a continuous hike in US crude production and a decline in Chinese demand for oil.
The price of the Brent crude went down by 86 cents to USD 76.46 per barrel, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which went down by 21 cents to USD 65.74 pb. (end) osj.gta
