RIYADH, May 18 (KUNA) -- Saudi security authorities arrested seven people on charges of conducting "suspicious" contacts with foreign parties, which supported their activities, as well as recruiting people working in "sensitive government locations," State Security Presidency said Friday.
A presidency spokesman was quoted by official SPA news agency as saying security authorities monitored illegal activities of a group of people, who were contacting foreign parties to support their activities and recruit persons working in "sensitive" government departments, as well as providing financial support for "hostile elements abroad." This group, said the spokesman, wanted to undermine Saudi Arabia's security, stability and national unity. (end) mdm.bs
