CAIRO, April 1 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian authority on Sunday asked the Arab League to hold an extraordinary meeting at delegates' level to discuss Israeli crimes in Gaza.
Diab Al-Loh, the Palestinian permanent delegate at the league, said in a statement that he had asked for the emergency meeting to discuss the Israeli crimes against peaceful Palestinians who held a demonstration, on Friday, demanding return to their homeland.
He added that Israeli troops, deployed along Gaza's demarcation lines, committed a crime against the peaceful demonstrators killing 16 and wounding more than 1,500 others, in grave breach of international human rights. (end) mfm.rk
