AMMAN, March 23 (KUNA) -- The government-run Syrian Television on Friday declared a deal with armed opposition groups in East Ghouta.
The television station said the accord was worked out with the armed factions in Erbin, Zamalka, Ain Tarma and Jobar.
According to the freshly declared agreement, up to 7,000 persons, including gunmen from Al-Nusra Front and Failaq Al-Rahman, would be relocated to the northwestern region of Idlib.
The gunmen are compelled to hand over heavy arms, tunnels' maps and mines before proceeding to Idlib. They must also free hostages before pulling out.
It should go into effect as of 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Identical deals had been hammered out with opposition groups in other areas on outskirts of the Syrian capital. (end) tk.rk
