BERN, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- The second Kuwaiti Cultural Heritage Exhibition, hosted by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Switzerland, has impressed a large segment of attendees namely Swiss citizens.
Such admiration toward the fair, held for the second consecutive year, affirmed necessity of portraying a civic image about Kuwait's pre-oil past in Europe, namely Switzerland, said Anwar Al-Refaei, head of the Kuwaiti Heritage Team at Bait Al-Othman Museum.
It is a significant cultural message, for nations are judged by what they posses in terms of heritage. "We in Kuwait have a beautiful heritage which we boast of displaying to others," he added.
He hailed efforts by the State of Kuwait Ambassador to Switzerland, Bader Al-Tunaib, for organizing the fair.
The Kuwaiti Embassy organized the fair as part of celebrations marking the country's national days. (end) ta.rk
