KUWAIT, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan held talks Tuesday with visiting Iraqi Minister of Planning and Trade Dr. Salman Al-Jameeli on bilateral cooperation.
Al-Roudhan, also Minister of State for Youth, and Jameeli underlined importance of economic integration between Iraq and Kuwait, a statement by the ministry said.
The two men also discussed means of facilitating issuance of tourism and business visas, as well as reducing their issue fees, it said.
The facilitation of the visa issue, it added, would encourage movement of people, the development of infrastracture of borders and road networks, including the construction of railrod.
Meanwhile, Al-Roudhan met with a delegation of the Iraqi Economic Council to discuss the development of trade and investment relations between the two countries.
The two sides discussed the establishment of joint companies with headquarters in Kuwait and Iraq. (end) asa.mb
