CAIRO, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti MP Askar Al-Enezi on Tuesday stressed necessity of promoting Arab causes and concerns to all European parliaments and the US Congress.
Al-Enezi made his remarks to KUNA at end of the third meeting of the Arab Parliament's second session, and his participation in a session of the Committee of Social, Educational and Cultural in the parliament.
He pointed to importance of intensifying efforts to reach European and American nations to clarify causes and events in the Arab world, especially with regard to confronting terrorism and extremist ideology.
He said that the Social, Educational, Cultural and Young Women Affairs' Committee has prepared a unified Arab consultative draft law on higher education and scientific research, adding that the panel also discussed a "preliminary vision" on assisting refugees and displaced Arab women and children.
On Kuwait's hosting of the International Conference on the Reconstruction of Iraq, Al-Enezi said that the Arab parliament hailed the generous initiative by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah hosting the conference, and Kuwait's humanitarian role and keenness to ensure security and stability of Iraq and throughout the Arab world.(end) msh.haq
