KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- United Kingdom's Handley Page aircraft carved its name in Kuwait's aviation history by being the first to land at Dasmah airport in 1928.
Henceforth, air traffic flourished, which eventually led to establishing an aviation school and club in 1953 and the national carrier; Kuwait Airways Corporation, in 1954.
As part of the 'Kuwait 2035' vision, terminal-2 of Kuwait International Airport is expected to finish in 2022 with a 25-million-passenger capacity, in order to contribute in the state's developmental plan. (end) ay.hb
