KUWAIT, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- The Humanitarian Action Center for Arab Youth Award saw great Arab participation, as part of the activities of "Kuwait Capital for Arab Youth", said Public Authority for Youth (PAY).
There were over 160 youth projects aiming to develop society taking part in the award, PAY Director General Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi said in a press statement on Sunday.
The projects cover different fields such as health, education, transportation, water, energy and humanitarian work, he added.
The award, launched last September, aims to invest in the talents and energy of Arab youth and allow them to play an important role in their societies, Al-Mutairi said. (end) fsa.ag
