JEDDAH, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- The Saudi-led Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen said Thursday the National Army of Yemen regained control over Al-Yatima-Al-Buqa road and other key positions in Saada provice, north Yemen, from the rebel forces.
Backed by the coalition warplanes, the Border Guard Brigade and Al-Fateh Brigade of the National Army made these advances on the Houthi militia and other allied rebel forces earlier today, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing a military source.
The Yemeni army managed to clear Tiba camp, Al-Jamishaj, Al-Ajasher, Sela gorge, Tabat Al-Talaa, Mahjouba, Ketaf and Imara sites from the rebels, the source said.
The military operations led to eight deaths and the recapture of 15 militants among the ranks of the rebels in addition to seizure of large quantities of munitions. (end) nh.gb
