BRUSSELS, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- Belgian foreign minister Didier Reynders has condemned US President Donald Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as "a very bad and a very dangerous decision." Speaking on Belgian VRT radio Thursday, he said a Two-State Solution is the only way to bring peace to this part of the Middle East and such a solution is impossible without negotiations.
On his part, Dutch foreign minister Halbe Zijlstra said the US decision to recognise Jerusalem as capital of Israel and move its embassy there from Tel Aviv is "unwise and counterproductive." "The two-state solution remains the Dutch objective," he said in a twitter message, adding that the UN Security Council resolution is clear: "The annexation of east-Jerusalem is illegal." (end) nk.mt
