DOHA, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- Qatar and France on Thursday inked a host of cooperative agreements and memos of understanding in the fields of fighting terrorism, defence, education, culture, aviation, railway and transport.
The signing came following a meeting between Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and visiting French President Emmanuel Macron, which focused on the promotion and development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on the latest regional developments and several other international issues, the agency added.
The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and several Qatari officials as well as the French president's accompanying delegation. (end) nnd.mt
