KUWAIT, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said on Sunday that Kuwait has completed preparations for the hosting of the 38th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit.
During his attendance of the United Arab Emirates' 46th National Day celebrations, at the country's embassy in Kuwait, he said that "Kuwait will welcome GCC leaders on Tuesday and Wednesday." A ministerial meeting is due to kick off on Monday ahead of the summit, added Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, who hoped the talks would support the continuation of the bloc's welcomed accomplishments.
He also highlighted the depth of Kuwaiti-UAE relations, under the leadership of both His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. (end) nma.km.sd
