DUBAI, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- Fahad Al-Gharabally, of Kuwait's Basel Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club, came second in the UAE's Superbike 600cc-category race, held at Dubai Autodrome circuit on Friday.
Al-Gharabally trailed Lebanese Mahmoud Taneer and was followed by an Italian rider.
"It was a difficult race," Al-Gharabally told KUNA following the event, citing malfunction in his engine.
"However, I managed to complete the race but the engine broke out after I crossed the finish line with some meters," he added.
Al-Gharabally said the race included finest bikers in Arab and Western countries.
He thanked Basel Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club for supporting him. (end) smr.bs
