TEHRAN, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- The 150-year-old Sham ol Emareh (Edifice of the Sun) building of Tehran's Golestan Palace is a main attraction of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Built in the 1867, the 35-meters tall structure was constructed upon commands by the Qajar Dynasty King Nasser ed Din Shah who had visited Europe and expressed great admiration to architecture there. (end) mw.gta
