BERLIN, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Chief of the Kuwaiti Security Bureau, briefed on Monday elite researchers at German think-tanks about latest conditions in the Middle East.
His briefing came during a seminar, organized by the German-Arab Friendship Society, held in his honor. Elite figures from the German research centers took part in the forum -- namely Konrad Adenauer foundation, affiliated to the Chancellor Christian Democrats' party, and the German foundation for external studies, DGAP.
Sheikh Thamer affirmed the State of Kuwait keenness on beefing up security and stability in the Middle East and addressed the gathering about latest security events in the region, calling for peaceful settlements to Middle Eastern strifes.
He was accompanied by the charge d'affaires, Hamad Al-Hazeem. (end) anj.rk
