AMMAN, July 1 (KUNA) -- Two persons were killed and eight injured in an explosion outside Idleb, northwest of Syria, on Saturday, a human rights group said.
An explosive device went off at Sheikh Yusuf Village killing two persons and injuring eight others, the Syrian Obervatory of Human Rights (SOHR) said in a statement.
It added that the number of fatalities might increase because the injured were in critical conditions.
SOHR, meanwhile, said a Syrian army officer, identified as a Brigadier, was killed in an explosion in the east side of Aleppo. A retired Major-General and a driver, who were with the officer, were also killed. (end)
