TEHRAN, June 24 (KUNA) -- The Time Museum in the Iranian capital Tehran showcases a rich history of the oldest and most expensive clocks and watches owned by ancient Persian ruling families.
The museum, set in a palace belonging to the Qajar dynasty, has a collection of antique watches and clocks handcrafted by the most famous watch makers in the world in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Most items in the museum were sent as gifts to Persian kings and sultans from France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Russia during the Qajar and Pahlavi eras. (end) fz.mk.ag
