RIYADH, May 8 (KUNA) -- Chiefs of GCC anti-corruption authorities began their fourth meeting at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters on Monday.
Bahraini Deputy Interior Minister and chairman of the session, Adel Al-Fadel, said in the opening statement that the top GCC leaders "are keen on taking tangible steps to eradicate corruption and lift the GCC communities to the highest levels of integrity and transparency." The three previous meetings at this level resulted in resolutions, implementation of which "noticeably contained corruption and created environments of integrity at various levels," he said.
The meeting aims at achieving integrity and fighting corruptions in an integrated manner among the GCC countries. (end) mdm.rk
