BRUSSELS, April 21 (KUNA) -- A man in the Belgian city of Antwerp whose name and photo appeared in the international media as a possible perpetrator of the Paris attack, has offered himself to the Antwerp police last night and denied any involvement in the attack.
According to Belgian media reports, the man in question appeared with his lawyer at a police station and denied any involvement. He is known to the Belgian police for drug trafficking.
"We currently have no information on Belgian links," said Belgian Minister of Justice Koen Geens.
He added that last night, there was some idea that someone would have come from Belgium, but the man himself presented himself, so that does not seem to be the case. (end) nk.gta
