KUWAIT, April 21 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went down by USD 1.44 to settle at USD 49.56 per barrel yesterday after being at USD 51.37 pb last Wednesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday.
At the global arena, the price varied due to investors mixed reactions toward the increase in US oil production in addition to OPEC and other major procedures intentions to continue to lower production.
The Brent crude price was up six cents and stood at USD 52.99 per barrel, but West Texas Intermediate was down 17 cents to settle at USD 50.27 pb. (end) osj.mb
