KUWAIT, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced a state of emergency following an oil leak in southwest of Kuwait on Sunday, the company's spokesman said.
Menahi Al-Enezi, also Acting Deputy CEO for Administrative and Financial affairs, said in a press statement KOC teams were at the scene of the leak and dealing with the situation in accordance with the relevant protocol.
Al-Enezi said no reading of toxic gases was detected. (end) osj.bs
